Description

once-dead-oct.deviantart.com/

Personality: Incredibly inquisitive, currently incapable of understanding personal space, and naive. Mir is searching for -something-, but lacks the ability to explain what that something is. Right now, they're like a child, and without a distinct moral compass. They'll copy what they see, including speech, mannerisms, and personality traits. Be warned, they learn fast, and only have to see/hear/etc something once to pick it up.
Also, when Mir talks, every word is replayed in the voice and tone of the person they heard it first from. It's very jarring.

Likes: Being liked! People who help Mir. Attention! Copying and replaying people's words back to them, that's friggin hilarious.

Dislikes: Being touched on the mirror bit of their face. Someone standing completely still and silent, staring at them. Quiet in general. The dark. People not liking them.

Strengths: Fast and limber, able to contort themselves any which way, due to their whole magic 'i have no bones' thing. Their sharp claw-things. They can imitate anything they hear, which is great for subterfuge.

Weaknesses: Light enough that they can be easily knocked over. Can probably literally be tied in a knot.
Claws are prone to breakage. Wouldn't think of the 'subterfuge' thing unless it was pointed out to them.

Fighting Style: Hit their opponent fast with quick, light strikes, and then run the hell away

Other skills: Perfect-recall memory

Weapons and belongings: Those claw-things and the clothes on their back

History: In a different universe, a mirror told the witch from Snow White that she wasn't the fairest in the land. In a furious rage, the witch cursed the mirror and told it to wander the land until they had found the prettiest girl in the world and brought her back to the witch.
After their body was assembled from a trash heap, Mir set off on their quest, scanning every girl they came across to determine which one was prettiest. Once they find the prettiest one they've ever seen, they'll do their best to convince her to go to the witch with them. Of course, if they find another, prettier girl on the way, they'll leave the first girl behind and try to convince the new girl to go with them.

I came up with Mir like four-five years ago and devised a basic plot, where they found a girl that they managed to convince to go with them back to the witch. Mir was originally supposed to be a reflection of all of my negative traits, but considering I was like fourteen, those traits no longer apply to me. Plus, object heads are haaaarrrd to draaaaaaw. Mir's been tucked away ever since.

Other notes: Very floppy. Can replay things they've seen in the surface of their mirror. They hide their claws in those huge shirt cuffs. Basically a puppet doing their best to gain a personality. Little to no concept of how 'emotions' work.

I give my opponents permission to kill this character: (Y)

Mir's lost pages:
1 (Physical ability): Their ability to replay things they've seen on their mirror/face. A crucial part of their ability to communicate, so they'd like this back as soon as possible. (sorry, Mir was already pretty low on physical abilities) Found! Mir is once again the best way to watch pirated movies

3 (Memories): One, their memory of the witch who created them.Found! The witch's motivations are still a mystery, but Mir sort of remembers her. She wasn't nice.
Two, the reason she had for creating them.
Three, any words they've managed to pick up (they've got a blank slate communication wise! They will literally only be able to say a word if they've heard another person say it first.) retrieved! Mir's vocabulary is extensive and flexible

1 (Persona): Mir is a construct and does not, technically, live. They survive entirely on magic, which keeps them going so long as they still have to complete their mission. Changing this fact about them would change a part of who they are.
